- My name is Tony Liu, a PhD in Finance and a graduate of MBA at K School of Management. I took GMAT in 2005 and scored 800. I am beginning my PhD next week, and would like to say goodbye to GMAT cause there is no way that I could take advantage of my 800 to apply for any school. Before I deleted all of them, let me share it with all you young dreamers.

I cannot understand what you meant there is no way that I could take advantage of my 800 to apply for any school?

I took GMAT in 2005, so the score is valid until May 25th, 2010. I am currently a first year PhD in Finance. The earliest graduate would be 2011. As you see, I am no long 800 at that time. Moreover, the PhD degree should be the last one of my education.

我本科毕业的时候申请的都是博士项目，但没有人要我。现在这所学校的老板觉得我还是有些闪光点，就给我了个全奖的MBA，让我先准备两年，再读博士。
我自己读MBA的感觉是一定要有工作经验，不然找工作太难了。基本不可能。

真的很庆幸在开始准备长期抗战时，就拜读了tony大的心得文章。您将读书计画分的很细，让我可以每周几乎按照您的计画进行。
在过两个礼拜就要验收了，希望会有好的结果。
